HMM...only one. That would have to be Neil Young's "After The Gold Rush" (thank you ;-) But the song that keeps running through my head is Neil Young's 'Comes A Time' (just the chorus) . Just cant get it out.
I think I need to check out the Adele's album , since it is was mentioned many times. Hey Charlie B. Jr., great Zep album and record cover.

CoCo's Canine Chronicles, part 2
by compound complex ini walk the streets, morning, noon and night, leash in one hand, blue "doggie bag" the other.
jake and i are quite a sight, as he's a handsome, gentle brute of a golden retriever with tawny mane and grey muzzle.
we're twins for looks but, otherwise, his prancing about on all fours contrasts sharply with my making do on two.

I like dogs CoCo. I like people that like dogs too. In fact that is a bonus point in my view of people, the love of a four legged best friend.
But alas I'm only alowed a cat were I live . I found my cat at The Big House of Forgetful Cats and Dogs. To my dismay she is quiet nerotic. If it wasnt for my patience and food she probably would end up at the Big House again.
I enjoyed your story . There's nothing better than the mutual thought process that goes on between our friends. All the decendants of wolves.

YOUR DAILY JOURNAL
by compound complex indear friends,.
much of what we do on a daily basis is routine and of no particular, earth-shaking importance.
however, after reviewing letters of family going back to wwii, it is fascinating to read what dad was doing on board the aircraft carrier in the pacific on any old day, what mom was cooking on her ever-steaming range, how i was dealing with the roller coaster of emotion at bethel [mom saved all my letters], how nana wrote that she would not study with the witnesses [per my request] but 'here are some mittens i knitted for you when you canvass new york with your magazines.

Chemtrails, Seeing is believing.
by pedal power inbefore i begin, i want you to know i understand the difference between chemtrails and contrails, so lets leave those discussions behind, chemtrails exist.. what is the purpose of chemtrails ?
if it was to artificially create clouds, why come to edinburgh ?
for any of you who are unaware, 90% of the time its cloudy and rainy, so creating cloud cover, is a joke.

In the US, PBS has a half hour weekly show called Religion and Ethics. Maybe it's something they would pick up on.

I have found I enjoy a Gin and Tonic.
For awhile, everything was vodka. It's refreshing to go back to the classic version of this cocktail.
When the weather is cooler, I enjoy Tuaca. It can be a little sweet for some, if so, add a splash of brandy.
Happy mixing Minimus

Oh my Vilola , but I have knickers to throw to Tom Jones.
I must protest at Right said Fred too. That song brings back some funny party memories from way back when . We would follow it with some Deee-Lite. The Grove is in the Heart c.d. London Beat too.
Oh what dorks we were..LOL

Lovers becoming friends
by JRK inplease help me understand the dynamics of it.
how do you go from being intimate to becoming buddies?
i have always been better at being a friend than being in a relationship.
-
eva luna
Some times things just dont work out in a relationship. When someone says 'can we still be friends ?' , I take it as a sort of , oh I dont know, but a compliment to who you both are. It's a way of not assigning blame. You are both good people but it just didnt work out. If some one still wants to be your friend it can be like saying you are still valued , but were just not meant to be.
I understand it still hurts though and I'm sorry you are feeling sad and hurt.
I know you have friends who care deeply for you and are offering their love and support. Stay close. I aggree with Flipper about music. Sometimes we cant find the words to express our feelings, feel alone, or not understood, but we find comfort and a sense of kindred spirits in music in those quiet times.
"this to shall pass"
Take care of you.
